Amiibo Tag Holder for Switch Case
thingiverse
I wanted to carry my NFC tags in my Nintendo Switch case, so I designed this holder to fit them perfectly. It takes up the same space as the game cartridge holders found in RDS-made Nintendo Switch cases. My NFC tags measure 30mm in diameter and this design can accommodate four tags on each side. **Warning:** Be sure your infill is strong enough if you choose the version with a cutout. **Changelog:** v1.0: * I increased the holes where the tags fit to 31.5 mm in diameter for some extra wiggle room. * Everything should be properly aligned now; it was slightly off earlier. * I added more height to the slots so there's more room for sliding. * I rounded the corners and outer edges for a smoother look. * The slot for removing tags with your finger is now bigger and has a better curve. * The sliding rails are moved to the back, creating a better form factor while reducing post-processing needs. * There are two versions of the sliding panels: one with a cutout that may allow more tags to fit, and another flush on the bottom. Thanks to Autodesk for making it easy to transition from TinkerCAD to Fusion360. v0.1: * I made the holes a bit bigger to add some extra room for easier NFC tag insertion. * I increased the height of the slots for the panels to add more space; I might need to make them wider later.
