Amiga PicoPSU Remix
thingiverse
This is a remake of the Amiga PicoPSU Case by Lemaru. The cable I have features a strain-relief clamp built right in, which means no more frayed or damaged cables. Additionally, I relocated the 12V input to the same side as the switch for improved accessibility. A convenient hole has also been added for an extra socket that delivers a 5V output. Since I needed power to drive my LCD monitor, I decided to tap into this PSU's output instead of using a separate adapter. For those who don't require it, there is a blanking plug available to seal off the unused port. *UPDATE 29/10/2019* A new top piece has been designed that can accommodate a compact voltmeter. I set mine up to monitor the 5V rail, which I believe is the most critical one for the Amiga. Unfortunately, I'm not sure which exact voltmeter I used (it was an old purchase), but it should be similar to these: https://www.banggood.com/Geekcreit-0_28-Inch-2_5V-30V-Mini-Digital-Volt-Meter-Voltage-Tester-Two-Line-Voltmeter-p-974258.html?rmmds=search&ID=228&cur_warehouse=UK The LEDs shine right through the transparent plastic, which is approximately 0.6mm thick. When switched off, there's no visible evidence that it's even there. One thing to note is that the holes for the display don't perfectly align, so I secured mine with hot glue to ensure a snug fit.
