Amiga CDTV Gotek USB disk drive emulator base
thingiverse
UPDATE: Check schematics and pinouts at new pictures. This bundle consists of a base and a front designed specifically for the Amiga CDTV computer. It makes possible to place well-known Gotek USB disk drive emulators. Important: Before placement, desolder the USB port, buttons, LEDs, and one capacitor from the CDTV case. After placement, all items can be soldered back in place. Keep an eye on the capacitor location and use some kind of isolation between the Gotek board and the CDTV case. I've used Kapton tape for this purpose. UPDATE: Two versions of the front part have been uploaded. 1. The flat front requires no modification to the CDTV case. 2. The front with the recessed line needs a small cutout in the bottom plastic, as shown in the last picture (red rectangle area). UPDATE 11-04-2018: A new front has been added, supporting a 0.91" OLED display that is supported by the FlashFloppy firmware. Note: This is an experimental design; I haven't printed or test-fitted it yet.
