Amiga 500 Gotek Floppy Mount

Redesigning Ashesman's original Gotek mount for the Amiga 500, I tailored it specifically for this model. His version was designed for the A1200, but I took inspiration from his work and completely reimagined the components from scratch. By integrating the USB socket with a functional disk eject mechanism, I elevated the design to new heights. The navigation buttons are now situated on the edge of the disk, adding an extra layer of functionality. To make maintenance a breeze, I designed an easily removable bottom cover for the buttons and OLED screen. This redesign utilizes a 0.91 inch OLED display, three microswitches measuring 2mm x 4mm, and a Gotek Floppy Emulator. Additionally, it requires some M3 screws to complete the build. Assemble this project with ease, but keep in mind that you should be experienced in working with plastic and have proficiency in soldering/desoldering. This design does not require any modifications or damage to your Amiga 500 case.
