Amiga 2000 Micro ATX PSU Frame

Amiga 2000 Micro ATX PSU Frame

thingiverse

I built a frame to support my Micro ATX power supply that I use in my Amiga 2000. It comes in two parts because printing it otherwise is impossible, but the two pieces will clip together nicely. To print this design, start by printing the base upside down on its bottom side, then print the top piece with its rear side facing downwards where the switch is located. If you're using Sketchup and making modifications, I recommend using MS 3D Builder to fix the files because Sketchup can be very finicky when it comes to exporting STL files. I've included both STL files separately so you can easily print them if you like. When assembling the frame, make sure the screws align with the holes in your Amiga 2000, two on the bottom and two on the rear. I modified the original design to ensure everything lines up properly - my initial print wasn't perfect. Feel free to remix this design to support other size power supplies; the one I'm using is 12x12x8 CM. This frame uses the A2000 ATX adapter from Ian Stedman, which you can find here: http://www.ianstedman.co.uk/Amiga/amiga_hacks/Amiga_PSU/amiga_psu.html#atxadaptors Please let me know if you like it - I'm Nad.
