Amiga 1200 Riser Feet
thingiverse
I have a Blizzard PPC/040 accelerator in my Amiga, which gets REALLY HOT when in use. To keep it from overheating, I added some active cooling, but that caused the heatsink to stick out of the bottom of the case. I created riser feet to give the fan room to breathe and to level the machine. The risers fit over the existing rubber feet, which are needed to secure them in place. To attach them, you'll need to use only the case screws on the far left and right sides of the case. A small spacer must be printed for each riser, and the existing screw needs to be replaced with a longer one to reattach the case. So far, it's working well, with the 040 temperature dropping from scorching hot to just slightly warm to touch (around 40-50C). Some people are selling this design on eBay.
