Amiga 1200 Back Trap Door for Micro SD Card Extender
thingiverse
A lot of Amiga 1200 users opt for CompactFlash hard drives, but I chose to use a SD Card adapter since SD cards are more accessible and affordable. Unfortunately, it became really frustrating having to disassemble the case every time I wanted to add files to the SD card or even do a reformat and reinstall using WinUAE. I purchased a SD card extender (link below) and looked for a trapdoor to print, but all I found were designs for CompactFlash cards. The only SD card option available was designed to fit in place of the TV modulator, but I didn't want to risk damaging the board by removing it, so I downloaded NeonDex's trapdoor STL and made a hole large enough for the adapter to fit through. I secured it in place with a dab of hot glue, and it holds remarkably well.
