My American slide-in quick-change arm 'quad' design is taking shape through 3D printing. I'm fed up with the limitations and costs associated with CNC machining and carbon fiber, which have become the go-to materials for quadcopter construction. So, I've decided to explore the 3D print route instead. So far, it's looking promising. The flight test will be the ultimate test of my design, but in terms of production, it's a clear winner! It's a hot project of mine, so frame parts may change frequently. If you decide to build one, please share your feedback and tag me on Instagram #fpvlarge. Thanks for following along! Fly high, crash often, and re-print whenever necessary. 15/02/19 Update: Arm modification in progress. 17/02/19 Update: New arm design released. The 'locking' feature with nutserts requires trimming the arms where they meet in the middle.
