American Standard Toilet Flapper Valve v1.0 - Chris Neese This is my design for a toilet flapper valve using PLA - note: being submerged in water has not been a problem with my flapper made from PLA. flat_plug.stl - slicer settings - 10% infill, adhesion = on, optional: ironing = on for smoother flat surface joint_clip.stl - slicer settings - 10% infill, adhesion = on pivot_plate.stl - slicer settings - 10% infill, adhesion = on The joint_clip.stl part is made to push down into the plug and slide snap into place. if you have trouble pushing it down clean or scrape the rim of the push down hole with a razor or knife until you can push the joint clip into the hole and slide to snap into place. Pro Tip: If you are not satisfied with the seal created by this plug I recommend coating the sealing surface of it with the best grease that you have available. I had some "Marine Grease" available that I used and it made this seal perfectly. If you do not have any of that you may also try other grease, vasoline, etc to improve the seal to your liking.
