This assignment was for my history class; it demonstrates my interpretation of American identity. Using Illustrator, I designed arches and wings, then added names of 20 notable Americans on each feather. For the portraits, I live traced images and placed them on the arches. Next, I laser-cut various colored acrylic sheets to print my artwork. To enhance stability, I rasterized a base. Finally, I assembled everything with acrylic glue, attaching the eagle and arches onto the base.
