American Mecha Flight Stand with Hex Base

Flight Stand with Hex Base that is the same size as a popular giant stomping mech game. It's a remix of my earlier hex base: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4597503 The flight stand is in three parts; a hex base, a small connector and the flight pole (in three sizes). I print the flight pole and small connector together with the pole laying flat. To use this, you'll need to take your model and "cut" a hole in it using the flight pole in something like Tinkercad or Blender before you print it. Alternatively you can try drilling a 4mm hole in the base of the model, but please if you use power tools then use a vice to hold the model. Please read this before printing the hex base: ==================== There's a trick to printing the hex component quickly (in Cura at least) with the following steps: 1. Flip the model upside down. 2. Set "Shell" / "Top Layers" to 0. This is very important. 3. Set "Shell" / "Bottom Layers" so a value so that the final thickness will be around 0.8mm - my layer height is 0.08 and I set this value to 10 so that the total thickness is 0.8mm. 4. Set "Infill" / "Infill Density" to 0. 5. For a 0.4mm nozzle, set the "Shell" / "Wall Line Count" to around 3, maybe 4. Use more with smaller nozzles. I use a 0.25mm nozzle and my wall line count is set to 5 which may be a bit thin. 6. Disabled "Shell" / "Enable Ironing" if you have it on. The attached photo includes an image of one of the bases flipped upside down. I'd advice creating a new profile and saving it so you don't mess up your existing one. This should give you a hollow hex base with no bottom on it that looks a lot like the "real thing". You can print them quick and they don't use too much filament. Don't make them too thin or they'll potentially warp. I assume other slices have equivalent steps. Edit (19/2/2021): Updated the pegs to remove issues.
