American ingenuity 02 splitter
grabcad
The oxygen splitter features a four-part design, with the initial part receiving air from the tank possessing a single air channel that transforms into a rectangular shape at its terminus. To maintain consistent pressure, the surface area of both circular and rectangular openings is similar. The terminating end includes 1mm wide teeth, each a sixth of the rectangle's length, which interlock with corresponding teeth on the other part. Users adjust oxygen distribution by aligning the colored teeth: red (representing the first orifice) has six, while green (for the second orifice) also features six. The yellow teeth denote rectangular orifice length. By shifting mesh alignment (6mm for red cannula and 6mm for green cannula), users determine oxygen flow into each orifice. Note the splitter's sealing function achieved through meshing parts, ensuring firm positioning. To modify the diameters of oxygen feed to patients, access Sketch 11 from Boundary 1; adjust Sketch 3 from Boundary 1 for the receiving part's diameter from the tank. For sealer dimension changes, alter Sketch 3 from Boss Extrude 1. Finally, after meshing parts, slide sealers into place for compression.
