AMD Glow Logo
thingiverse
As a proud AMD enthusiast, I designed this test proof of concept specifically for my ATX case front glow panel. I printed it in moderate resolution, but the real challenge was applying chrome finish spray paint while covering the extruded side with a layer of protection. To achieve the desired effect, I sprayed through the holes, making sure to get an even coat. For the second application, I turned the panel over and covered the un-extruded side with tape, allowing me to focus on the other areas. Next, I filled the extruded part with hot glue, carefully inserting RGB 5mm LEDs through the holes once the glue had dried. Powered by a Computer CMOS 3V battery, the lighting system is now complete, and it's a true showstopper that honors AMD's legacy.
