AMD CPU AM3 to AM4 adaptor blocks (Fit for EK Supreme HF)

Since an Alienware laptop has failed me it was time to switch back to self-build computers where I can repair/swap defective components myself. After the MMX video editing hell I knew I needed some more digital horsepower's and decided to build a new system re-using as much as possible from an old build I did.

And so I wanted to re-use this awesome CPU AM3 block. I already bought this block in the past because I could make a new fitting plate for it if the holes ever would change in the future. But I liked the powder coated plate to much so I decided to make adapter brackets so I could keep using the original plate with slight modifications.

The original plate needs to have some pars cut-off or drilled shown in one of the images. For material I would advice to use something with high temperature resistance as your CPU can become quite hot (80C+ if your cooling/pump fails) and it is under stress/load for proper pressure on the CPU. I used Pet-HT with a stable temperature up to ~100C. The screw hole in the middle is optional, but makes the brackets clamp nice and tight onto the plate. I tapped M4 thread in the 3D parts and used M4x10 inbus screws.

I also experimented a bit with filling logo's/letters with a color. I sound some white construction kit/glue that I mixed up with some alcohol based permanent marker. I then added a bit more alcohol to make it more liquid, and used a syringe to fill the logo. After it dried I needed to repeat the steps a few times since the drying process would shrink the glue to much making it not sit flush with the surface. At the and I sanded the surface and excessive glue to a nice finish. It worked out good at the end, but it is rather difficult to get it right, so I wanna search for better options for this, but its a good start ;). Any tips are welcome.
