The Renault ACG-1, also known as the Automitrailleuse de Combat Renault modèle 1935 or simply AMC 35, was a highly advanced medium cavalry tank designed by France to meet the evolving needs of modern warfare during the Interwar era. Its development stemmed from a major overhaul of specifications that led to the creation of its predecessor, the AMC 34, which called for a vehicle that not only boasted superior firepower and mobility but also offered enhanced protection against enemy attacks. Unfortunately, technological and financial constraints hindered production, limiting the AMC 35's availability and deployment, with Belgium being the sole country to establish active units equipped with this type of tank. The AMC 35 stood out among its French contemporaries for featuring a cutting-edge two-man turret design.
