Ambient Multicolor Light
thingiverse
I had a fully functional remote-controlled LED light bulb that needed to be repurposed, so I decided to give it new life. To achieve this transformation, you will need the following materials: - A remote-controlled LED light bulb with an E27-size base. - An E27-sized lamp socket secured by a union nut through a hole (I apologize for any confusion in my description). - A 2 or 3-phased power cable capable of handling 240 Volt AC. - Three screws or rivets, such as the 4 mm plastic rivets I chose to secure the two parts together. The lamp foot was printed with 10% infill, but the flange on the bottom posed a challenge. Next time, I plan to use support material or split it into two separate prints. The lamp shade was designed in vase-mode and requires some post-processing. After printing, you must cut a 40 mm hole in the bottom of the vase (as seen in my example) and duplicate the three holes from the foot. Keep in mind that this is a hastily designed concept and can be improved upon. However, I must emphasize the importance of electrical safety when working with high voltage components.
