This DIY project is designed specifically for a 20 cm Blanda Matt bowl from IKEA. To get started, you'll need to drill a hole in the bottom of the bowl itself. The bulb holder is secured with a screw, making it easy to attach and detach. You can use your own lithophane if you prefer, but be aware that it may affect the sunrise effect. The LED bulb used in this project comes with a remote control, but you can also opt for a Hue or any other compatible LED bulb. The IKEA Sekond bulb holder is recommended for this project, and can be purchased from the IKEA website along with the Blanda Matt bowl.
