Amazons Board Game Set

This is a set of pieces for playing the strategic board game Amazons. The rules are straightforward: typically, it's played on a 10x10 grid but other sizes can be used too. Each team has four amazons that move like chess queens in every direction. You can see where to place the amazons from the photos above. On each turn, a player moves their amazon first, then places a marker which moves as a chess queen from the end of the amazon's movement. This marker blocks all movements into or over that square completely. A piece is captured when it has no possible moves left. When all of one team's amazons are captured, they lose the game. You'll need eight amazons in total, four per team color. To play until a victory or stalemate, you'll also need NxN minus 8 markers. For example, on a 10x10 grid, you would need 100 - 8 = 92 markers to be able to play until a stalemate occurs, 56 for an 8x8 grid and so on.
