I've been experiencing issues with feeding material to my new MMU2, so while waiting for a solution on their forum, I decided to adapt my current moisture control solution for the MMU2. After researching the original concept, I modified it to create a flange that holds the PTFE fitting (identical to the one found at http://a.co/d/bXJCLVm). I purchased additional PTFE Teflon Bowden Tube (available at http://a.co/d/efHZAR9) and set it up with a break in the tube, allowing the MMU2 to retract the filament. This adaptation appears to be working flawlessly. Not only does the filament seem to be functioning properly on all 5 feed tubes, but I've also gained valuable counter space! The single spool holder is based on the design found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2926059. My remixed double version, which works seamlessly with it, can be accessed at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3144008. I used M3 screws and hex nuts – the same ones employed by Prusa – for this project.
