Amazon Echo Dot Gen 2 - Tau / TET Mount

While setting up my Amazon Echo Dot, I decided that a more futuristic ambiance was needed for my lab. So, I created a custom mount with a sleek design inspired by the iconic Tet from the film Oblivion and the advanced technology depicted in the movie Tau. The base of the mount is cleverly designed to allow sound waves to emanate freely from underneath, enhancing the overall listening experience. This versatile mount can be used on both flat surfaces and walls, as demonstrated by the wall-mounted version shown here. I brought this innovative design to life using PTC Creo 3, a powerful computer-aided design software that allowed me to shape my vision into reality.
