Amazon Echo Dot Acoustic Stand!
thingiverse
Having several Amazon Echo Dots scattered around the house has been a pleasant experience, and while the compact speaker's audio quality isn't quite on par with its bigger sibling, it gets the job done for its intended purpose. However, since it's situated at the bottom of the unit facing downwards, it can be tricky to hear, especially when placed on a nightstand or table surrounded by other objects, which only exacerbates the issue. To address this problem, I designed an "acoustic horn" that lifts the Amazon Echo Dot off the surface and redirects the sound into the room instead of bouncing it back onto the table. Print Settings: Printer: Just Any Printer Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 (or better) Infill: 20% to 40% As needed... Notes: This should print well with basic settings, but due to the "fingers" at the top, I suggest using a 0.2 layer height maximum. If printing in ABS, consider using a brim to keep it in place, as there is minimal surface area.
