I searched for a suitable holder for my third-generation Echo Dot here but couldn't find one, so I created a custom design using Solidworks (file included). This printed model turned out well and securely holds my third-generation device. The print is quite large, though - sorry about that! The long neck is due to the ridiculously lengthy six-foot power cord that comes with the Echo Dot. I could have shortened it by cutting it and rejoining it with solder, which would have reduced the overall size of this setup, but it's just a waste of filament. To fit the print on my Ultimaker2 bed, I rotated it slightly. If you have a small print bed on your printer, you'll need to download the Solidworks file and shorten the neck - good luck getting that six-foot power cable into a shorter neck! If you do modify the file, be warned that it's a bit of a mess; I was in a hurry and don't excel at thinking parametrically.
