I'm going to make an Amazon Echo Button waterproof for outdoor use. I've already been using this Echo Button model for a year as a budget-friendly doorbell option. One Button says "Ding Dong... someone is at the front door" while the other says "Ding Dong... someone is at the backyard gate." You can check out a YouTube video showcasing how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hD3fS_D69_8&feature=youtu.be. To make this waterproof, you'll just need to purchase two 3.5 x <=19mm screws. Using machine grease for added protection is recommended but not necessary; the Echo Button still functions without it.
