Based on the incredible work by sidoh10, located at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3079607, it's clear that sidoh10's tutorial has opened up exciting possibilities. As suggested in sidoh10's tutorial, it is possible to open Amazon Dash buttons to replace their batteries. This operation, unfortunately, is irreversible, so a custom case must be created to replace the original one. Many users agree that the Amazon Dash button performs better when its original plastic top cover remains intact, as this allows for smoother button movement. To accommodate this need, I designed a modified version of the bottom case that snaps securely over the Amazon Dash button and eliminates the requirement for a separate top cover.
