Amazon Basics Keyboard Leg
thingiverse
The Amazon Basics keyboard is a solid choice at an unbeatable price, but it falls short in one crucial area: stability. The included "ridge" on the back barely elevates the keyboard from its flat state, rendering it unstable on any surface. To address this issue, I designed simple legs that fit snugly under the ridge, lifting the keyboard to a comfortable height. These legs boast a decent amount of play, with one of mine remaining in place when lifted, while the other falls off shortly after. I'm hesitant to make them tighter, as that might cause issues with certain printers or damage the keyboard's glossy finish. However, users can easily resolve this by installing a 3M Command strip between the flat panel and the bottom of the keyboard, ensuring the legs stay firmly in place.
