Amass XT-30 dual panel mount
thingiverse
I'm creating a panel mount for a pair of Amass XT-30 connectors. My goal is to find a way to attach one male and one female XT30 to a panel for use in a large power bank, where one is used for charging the internal battery and the other supplies power to external devices. Versions are included for one male and one female, two males, and two females, with specifications referring to the pins of the connector itself, not its overall shape. A female connector would typically be found on a battery, while a male connector would be used on a charger. These designs are tailored for a 3/4" (~19mm) panel cutout size. To fit my printer, I had to scale up the body to 101% and the nut to 103%. I created these mounts as tight press fits - they require significant force to seat properly. However, a small amount of CA glue was added afterwards to prevent any future movement, although this may not be necessary, especially for male connectors due to their large surface area. No raft or supports are needed, but I did print with a brim as it's my standard practice. Edit: After receiving new XT30 connectors that are slightly larger in outside dimensions (~5.2mm thick), where the previous ones were ~5.1mm, I tweaked and re-exported all three gender options with 0.1mm larger holes. The updated versions have "5.2" in their name if needed.
