Amanda stopped by our booth at the Big Bang Fair and got scanned using our 3D scanning rig, a complex setup of 96 DSLR cameras that collectively capture an enormous 1.8 Giga pixels of data with each scan. We partnered with CapturingReality.com to process the data - their software is highly skilled in analyzing each image, pinpointing unique points on each one, and then plotting those points in 3D space if they appear on more than one image.
