thingiverse
Ama Dablam stands tall in eastern Nepal, a majestic peak within the Himalayas. Built from high-resolution SRTM data gathered by the Space Shuttle (approximately 0.8 million facets), it showcases cutting-edge technology. Created with an advanced version of SRTM2STL software yet to be publicly released, this digital model now exists for all to see. The source code behind generating files at a resolution of three arcseconds can be found on GitHub under the GNU license.
