AM8 Z-Motor-Holder for rigid coupler
thingiverse
To switch from a spring coupler to a rigid coupler for your threaded rod, make sure it's dead-on parallel with the Z-rod. My take on the Z-Motor-Holder uses oblongs to enable precise adjustments in the X plane. I highly suggest using decouplers instead of motor mounts. The outcome is remarkable - no more wobble, shifts or other unwanted phenomena. Leveling becomes much more accurate since the Z-axis directly follows each motor movement without any spring stretch or compression. To achieve this level of precision, I only had to modify the right side, as it was already perfect on the left. If you need a left-hand version, simply mirror the STL in your slicer software.
