This is an upgrade for the AM8 that brings the endstop forward 10mm to match the Reprap Champion carriage on the Anet A8. It leaves a 2mm safety gap from the Y motor mount, just like the original carriage. I suggest limiting your printer's Y build volume to 210mm to avoid hitting the front extrusion with the slide bushings of the original A8. This will give you enough clearance for safe operation. If you're using the default 220mm bed and setting a 210mm build volume, I recommend placing your (0,0) point 5mm from the front of the bed by adjusting the side extrusions to get it centered correctly, then configuring it in your firmware.
