X Axis Holders Designed with AM8 in Mind and Compatible with E3D POM and Anti Backlash Nuts. * UPDATE 2020-03-01: * * New holders added for the E3D POM nuts. * Offset fixed on the idler side holder, leadscrew opening was off by around 0.2 mm. * Openings resized for smooth rods to minimize z-wobble. **Features:** * Designed for AM8 and compatible with official [E3D POM Nuts](https://e3d-online.com/leadscrew-motor-with-pom-nut) and [E3D Anti-Backlash Nuts](https://e3d-online.com/anti-backlash-nut). * Smooth rods sit a bit deeper in than original Anet A8 holders, keep this in mind when using X tensioner. * Compatible with Improved Anet A8 / AM8 X Tensioner ([Thingiverse Link](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4192900)). * X endstop similar to original Anet A8. * Suggest using LM8LUU type linear bearings to decrease Z wobble. * Installation is more or less identical to the original, but with easier smooth rod insertion. **Required Components:** * 2x E3D Leadscrew Motor with POM Nut - comes with motor and compatible with anti-backlash nuts ([Link](https://e3d-online.com/leadscrew-motor-with-pom-nut)). * Optional 2x E3D Anti-Backlash Nut - needed for anti-backlash version ([Link](https://e3d-online.com/anti-backlash-nut)). * 2x LM8LUU Bearings - Chinese ones will probably work. * 4x M3x20 screw, hex head - use AnetA8 screws or similar. * Optional 4x M3 nut, hex shaped - POM nuts come pre-threaded, but anti-backlash nuts require tightening with nuts. **Printing Instructions:** * No supports needed. * Print all parts as oriented for maximum quality, strength and ease of printing. * Use 20% infill for all parts. * Print at 0.2mm layer height.
