AM8 T-Slot Filament Holder

This is a Filament holder designed for use with the AM8: Anet A8 upgrade kit. After building my AM8 I discovered that none of the filament holders available would support the filament without consuming extra table/floor space or increasing the height excessively. Additionally, I aimed to limit the number of additional parts required to continue the AM8 upgrade path using as few parts as possible. 12.7.2017 - The CAD files have been uploaded, and I am pleased to report that this design has been working flawlessly for me over 100 hours and three spools since its initial installation! 8.13.2017 - Issues with spool changes led to arm breakage. In response, the arms were strengthened, and the hole design was revised to a slot-style configuration to facilitate easier spool changes while minimizing horizontal flex in the arms. The Spool holder utilizes the 8mm threaded rod included with the A8. Although bearings or additional rods are not required, you will need the following items: 1. Four M5x10 Button Head Screws 2.
