I got fed up with the idler pulleys consistently failing, so I made the decision to strengthen the AM8 y-axis tensioner. Remixed from this Y-Axis Tensioner design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2720717 Inspired by this design for the X-Axis Tensioner/Idler: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3211669 I highly recommend using a shim tool to ensure your belt is properly aligned: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3103473 BOM: * 2x M6 bolt 70MM * 4x M6 nut * 2x M6 washer * 4x M5x10 bolt (I used the ones for the frame) * 4x M5 2020 t-nut * 1x 5mm Rod/Shaft * 2x 5X13X4 Bearings (695-2RS-BU) * 1x gt2 16t drive pulley I cut the 5mm shaft to size with a Dremel. After the initial cut, I used a grinder accessory on the ends until the pulley could spin freely.
