File renaming and massive overhaul of this description. **Features:** Designed to fit on the right side, preventing hot end collisions with the chain. Drop-in replacement for the original AM8 T underside bracket. Compatible with both the original Anet A8 Y carriage and the custom [Gulfcoast Robotics Anet A8 A6 3D Printers Upgrade Y Carriage Anodized Aluminum Plate](https://gulfcoast-robotics.com/products/anet-a8-a6-3d-printers-upgrade-y-carriage-anodized-aluminum-plate). **Required Components:** * 3x **M4x10 screw, button head** - Essential for mounting the hotbed side. * 3x **M4 nut, hex shaped** - Required for securing the hotbed side. * 1x **L Shaped Metal Profile Bracket** - If your chain is hitting the front end of your frame, you may need to swap out this bracket. Refer to the second picture to see what it should look like. * *Optional* 1x **M4x10 screw, button head** - Additional screws are required for users who have upgraded to the custom carriage. * *Optional* 1x **M4 nut, hex shaped** - Users with the custom carriage will need additional nuts. **Parts To Print:** * 1x **Frame.stl** or *Frame_11mm_Offset.stl* - The frame side of the chain mounts by replacing the original right side AM8 T underside bracket. Use the regular one for standard AM8 setups, and the 11 mm offset version for my [Anet A8 Ultimate Direct E3D v6 & Titan Extruder Carriage With Chain](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2687146) or [Ultimate Hemera Anet A8 / AM8 Carriage For LM8LUU With Chain](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4179315). * 16x+ **Link.stl** - The chain requires at least 16 links, but printing extra is recommended. * 1x **Hotbed.stl** or **Hotbed_Custom_Carriage.stl** - Attach the chain to the hotbed using M4 screws and nuts. Use the normal Hotbed.stl with three screws and nuts for stock Anet A8 carriages, and the Hotbed_Custom_Carriage.stl with four screws and nuts for custom carriages. **Printing Instructions:** No supports are necessary. Print all parts as is to maximize quality, strength, and ease of printing. Use 80% infill for all parts. You may print all parts at 0.2mm layer height. **Assembly Instructions:** 1. Print all required parts. 2. Assemble the chain by snapping the links together. 3. Attach the frame side and hotbed side to the chain. 4. Remove the original right side AM8 T underside bracket. 5. Remove the hotbed for easier installation, but leave the carriage intact. 6. Swap out the front right bracket if necessary, referring to the second picture for guidance. 7. Mount the chain, attaching the frame side where the original bracket was, and securing the hotbed side to the carriage using three M4 screws with nuts or four for custom carriages. 8. Thread wires through the chain and zip tie them to the side to reduce strain. 9. Restore the hotbed and plug in your printer! If you have any questions or encounter issues, please comment below!
