AM8 PSU mount for MEAN WELL LRS-350-12

thingiverse

This is my design for a simple and compact PSU mount tailored specifically for MEAN WELL LRS-350-12 power supplies, optimized with the AM8 frame in mind but adaptable to any 2020 aluminum extrusion frames set up similarly. Two mounting tabs have been added on the bottom to allow the mount to securely attach to both vertical and horizontal extrusions, effectively acting as a sturdy frame brace. To minimize size and maximize efficiency, I aimed for a sleek design. This model can be printed on a 220x220 mm bed, although you may need to adjust its orientation to ensure a snug fit. Standard M5x8 screws are used for the frame holes, but M5x10 might be required as I found that 8mm was almost too short. The holes for securing the PSU's back are precisely M4x12 in size. To guarantee smooth printing, it is recommended to use supports since the bottom tabs protrude slightly from the main structure.
