Am8 PSU Cover 2018
thingiverse
Here I show the cover I designed with OpenScad for the power supply of my AM8. The mains voltage and 12V DC voltage have their own chambers for wiring, so they are separated from each other. The cover is attached to the lower profile using two M5*10mm screws. There's no additional mounting on the power supply. After wiring, the power supply unit is simply lowered into the cover. I used the following components: Arcolectric rocker switch C1553 VB NAC 250 V/AC 16 A 2 x off/on, TRU COMPONENTS TC-R3-11 fuse holder suitable for fine-wire fuse 5 x 20 mm 10 A 250 V/AC, HellermannTyton HV1207-PVC-BK-M1 cable entry clamp Ø (max.) 6 mm PVC Black, and an anti-buckling grommet 7mm. So that you can use your own components, I've included the OpenScad file for customization. Print parameters: 60% filling density, 0.2mm layer height, 3 vertical contours, 3 horizontal contour envelopes, 80mm/s print speed. Support is required. With a successful print, I would be very happy about a Like! Greetings Hardy
