Am8 Prusa i3 mk3
thingiverse
This printer is not thoroughly tested as I sold the i3 frame I was building and started constructing another corexy machine. This build is quite challenging, so I recommend checking out that machine instead of using this one if it doesn't work with my parts. The majority of these components are still untested. This is actually my Am8 mk3, remodeled Prusa i3 mk3 parts adapted to fit an Am8. You will need some components from the original Am8 build to complete this project. Please note that you'll need to mirror the Z-axis top and Z-axis bottom in order to print them correctly. The X-motormount and x-idler are designed so the leadscrew mount requires brass inserts, which I plan to rework to have embedded nuts at a later time. Updates will be posted accordingly. This build uses only standard M3 nuts; no square nuts are included. I still need to modify the stock direct mount to work with single MK8 hobbed gears and update the stock Bondtech version with polygon nuts. 2018-04-27 I've updated the X-carriage, realizing that one square nut remained in the center. This has now been fixed.
