Human: Modified AM8 and AM8 2020 x-axis parts. 400mm MGN12 rails are used for a robust z-axis setup. The z-motor has been relocated to extend the travel of the x-axis, but it's uncertain if a 300x300 bed will fit due to the actual bed size measuring 310mm. A 300mm glass plate will definitely fit on the build platform. Removal of 2040 z-axis supports might be necessary for optimal performance. Both normal and anti-backlash size mounts are included for the x-axis assembly. It's recommended to print the x-axis parts with supports enabled in your slicer software. Only one side of each part is provided, so simply mirror the design in your slicer to generate the opposite side. Edit: July 13, 2018 Additional components have been added, including an x-motor mount, x-endstop, z-endstop, and a z-endstop switch compatible with ramps 1.4. These endstops ensure precise control over the print bed. Edit: November 5, 2017 A redesign of the XZ mounts has improved their structural integrity. Initial prototypes exhibited flexing in the z-direction, but new iterations provide stability and rigidity. For optimal results, it's suggested to print these XZ mounts with 100% infill density.
