I recently started building the "AM8 - Metal Frame for Anet A8" since my acrylic frame went up in flames... FYI - Don't apply thread lock to your screws.\r\n\r\nI liked the design idea in this modified version of the frame: http://www.thingiverse.com/make:348441 which utilizes 2 X 2020 extrusions for the bed, resulting in a lower bed and an additional 20mm of Z travel. However, this made the motor mount too tall, leaving only one hole for attaching the mount to the frame, so I created a wider one with more holes for 2020. There are two versions available: one with channel support and one without. Printing the support can be tricky, and probably isn't that crucial.\r\n\r\nI ended up replacing this with a metal mount I purchased on ebay because this warped after printing ABS for months.\r\n\r\nIf you want to print a more robust mount, this might be an even better option...\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2945584
