AM8-LS Y-AXIS V-SLOT RAIL BELT DRIVE

I'm still refining this design, so I'll hold off on adding a parts list until I've confirmed its functionality. This was created specifically to work with my AM8 200x300 bed design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2464419), which utilizes Openbuild V-Solt extrusion and Leadscrew drive. For now, use it at your own risk. I'm not satisfied with the leadscrews' performance; they're causing excessive vibration. I might look for a better option, but in the meantime, I'll try switching to the standard belt drive to ensure the V-Extrusion concept works as intended. Update: I've added a parts list from OpenBuilds for the Y-Axis V-Slide, focusing on the belt-driven version. I recommend using the belt drive until I find a suitable lead screw. You'll need about 4 feet of GT2 2mm pitch 6mm wide drive belt and will have to transfer four mounting holes for 5mm screws from the gantry plate to the bed sub-plate. Steps per Millimeter for a 30-tooth pulley are as follows: For 1/16th stepping, use 53.33 steps/mm. For 1/32nd stepping, use 106.67 steps/mm. To set steps per mm in real time using M92 g-code, consider the following example for your Y axis: M92 Y53.33 Use M500 to save this setting.
