Am8 Light bar
thingiverse
I had two small LED strips on the sides of my printer and really liked how much light they gave off, so I wanted more to see the first layer adhesion better. These are now level with the bed but also light up the whole bed top to bottom. I plan to have them in all four corners but two in the front will do for now - you can use them on vertical extrusions or wherever else you need extra lighting. Printing with no supports won't be a problem, it took me four tries to get the design right. You can print at any layer height, .2 is best and will take about 2.2 hours to complete two towers and two bars in total. Okay to acknowledge the DMs - my LEDs are generic strip lights, cool white ones with three meters of adhesive backing, 12 volts and cuttable into segments of three LEDs each. I ordered them from Banggood but any non-waterproof strip light will work as long as it's 10mm wide.
