AM8 LCD Mount
thingiverse
Hey guys, on my second and third AM8 builds I've discovered that I no longer need to rely on the frame's feet. Instead, I set the frame directly onto a foam mat. The issue arises when the stock LCD mount sits below the frame, causing it to rest on the LCD cover without the feet in place. To resolve this, I attach mounts that elevate the LCD, allowing it to clear the table and bring it forward slightly, which also clears the adjustment screw for the Y axis belt. Note: There's a trade-off with this mount - it makes the Y axis adjustment screw harder to access. However, since I rarely need to tighten them, this isn't an issue for me. Important: You'll need to mirror this in your slicer to get the left side mount working properly.
