This is a custom design for pheneeny's Anet A8 All Metal Frame front LCD case. If you haven't modified yours yet, I highly recommend doing so - it's worth the time and cost. You can find the original design on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2263216 I added a cutout to make accessing the Y-axis belt tensioner easier. I also enhanced the case by adding angles for improved structural integrity. Initially, I struggled with removing the original case, so I took measurements and recreated it from scratch. To improve the screw posts on the inside, I redesigned them as D-shaped and made them more substantial. This was necessary because they didn't print well for me - possibly due to printer or setting issues, but they were very flimsy and one broke off instantly. I became frustrated with the button placement and eventually gave up, opting instead to make the button holes much wider and create optional button caps to cover the gaps. The buttons fit loosely on top of the switch posts, staying in place without falling off - at least on my printer. You may need to adjust the button caps by plus or minus 0.1% or more to suit your preference. The LCD case printed with perfect precision after several revisions using PETG material (alas, in magenta due to a lack of red filament). I'm eager to match the rest of my printer's color scheme and will need to obtain more red filament for this purpose. If anyone else struggles to access their belt tensioner, I hope this design is helpful.
