AM8 Guide Rod Alignment Jig

AM8 Guide Rod Alignment Jig

This upgrade is an addition to the AM8, which was based on the pheneeny design. To ensure my bed tracked perfectly perpendicular to the x-axis, I designed little brackets that attach to the 2040 extrusion and hold the bottom of the y-axis guide rod in place. Two files need to be printed so one can be placed at the front and one at the back to keep the guide rod straight, ensuring the bed is almost perfectly centered within the frame. The SolidWorks file has been included for customization, allowing you to adjust the length if necessary to locate your bed at a different dimension off the outside frame rail.
