AM8 Electronics Case - with fan on enclosure lid
thingiverse
To enhance heat dissipation from the RAMPS board and stepper drivers, I designed a modified lid that accommodates an 80mm fan for installation. This modification can likely be applied to the Anet A8 mainboard enclosure as well. My intention is to utilize a fan extender connected to the servo output connector on the RAMPS board to control both fans - one mounted on the lid and the other used in the hotend cooling element. I don't plan to verify whether this setup will work with the Anet mainboard. I've previously utilized a Noctua NF-R8 Redux fan for my single-fan lid, which is mounted externally. Note: Although I haven't printed the dual-fan lid yet, it should be feasible to install two 80mm fans on it.
