Update 10/07/2018 - A brand new version has been added with even further reduced material usage and an eye-catching bold green photograph! For those who want their item printed in green, download the models with B at the end of the filename. This one's not strictly a remix since it was designed from scratch, but definitely draws inspiration from some dimensions found in the original AM8 parts. Either way, linking to the referenced design is well worth it. Here are the changes made to the source design: - A small amount of extra material has been added to the underside to fit snugly into the v slot channels. - Smaller holes have been drilled at the endstop position so that M2 screws can grip securely and stay in place. - A recess has been created for the rod fixing screw's head, improving clearance for heated bed carriages that run very low. - Rounded edges give this design a fresh new look. Curved edges face inward, providing two variants of the non-endstop version - one facing forward and the other backward - to make room for low-riding heated bed carriages.
