<h1>Overview:</h1> This remixed Z motor mount is designed specifically for Prusa I3 MKII & MKIII X-carriage spacing, and can be mounted on an AM8 style printer with ease. To withstand potential heat from the stepper motors, this part should be printed in PETG or ABS material. <h1>Revisions:</h1> The revisions to this design are as follows: 01 - Initial Release - 4/1/20 02 - Added Z Rod holders - 4.5.20 <h1>Changes from Original Model:</h1> This remixed motor mount has undergone several key changes, including: *Reducing the distance of the motor spindle to 8mm rods from 22mm to 17mm CC. *Removing an M5 clearance hole, resulting in a total of three holes instead of four. This was done as four M5 bolts on this part were not necessary. *Adding a 30-degree ramp on alignment features, allowing for printing without the need for support or free-air printing. <h1>Files Included:</h1> This design package includes: *Native Solidworks file *STL *STEP <h1>Additional Notes</h1> You will need to mirror this part within your slicing software, as the mirrored STL file was too large for Thingiverse to allow for an upload.
