I needed a spool holder for my AM6 printer, which sits separately and has an ideal spot for the bowden extruder on top right corner of the machine. I also wanted it to be foldable so that it takes up less space when stowed away. To err on the safe side, I planned to print with 40% infill, but accidentally printed with only 15% infill (three outlines and a 0.4mm nozzle) - in hindsight, this is enough to support 1kg spools. For the hinge axes, use M3x30-35mm screws as they are not screwed in (no threads in the holes), just pushed down.
