AM43 Beaded Chain Gear
prusaprinters

This is a custom gear for my AM43 blind drivers. I had been using the supplied generic beaded chain gear, but found them a little noisy. These are much quieter as they exactly mesh with the beaded chain.

My blinds are moved with a metal-beaded chain.

The beads are approx 3.1 mm in diameter

The gap between the beads is approx. 1.54 mm

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

CR-10

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2mm

Infill:

20%

Filament: Generic PLA White

Notes:

This prints without support.
I used 3 walls.
The gear fits on the shaft snugly, and in my case only from one direction, guess that is due to a bit of squishing on the bed making the hole just a little tight on that side.

Category: Household
