AM Radio That Works!

I'm super excited to share my brand new 3D printed AM radio! I drew inspiration from those iconic diy crystal and foxhole radios of the early 1900s, but I designed mine with simplicity in mind. To make it easier to understand how this incredible device works with so few parts, I created some animations that'll walk you through the process. The video will show you exactly how to assemble this amazing gadget, so be sure to check it out! You can find the link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGhe3OrNIlI Here are the materials you'll need: 1. A Piezo Earphone 2. A coil of 24 AWG Magnet Wire (also known as Enamel Wire) 3. A 1N34A germanium diode 4. A small piece of aluminum foil 5. A paper clip 6. A package of Hildie & Jo 45 Cord Ends, which includes three small 5x10mm Springs You can easily find these materials online. The springs I used are available at Joann Fabrics - just search for Silver Cord End Springs. Any similar 5mm diameter springs will do the trick!
